I recently cut my long hair into a new chin length do but I find myself wanting to go shorter. I am no stranger to a pixie cut but I wonder if I really want to do it or am just bored with myself?

HEAT

That seems to be one thing Texas has going for it. I've lived in this great big ole' state for almost 5 years now and still have a hard time in the summer. Last week it was 109 degrees!!! It is cooler this week though, only around 103! At these temperatures there is no hope of wearing foundation during the day so I'm continuing with my au naturale look. When the temp outside is scorching does it affect your beauty regimen or are you so die hard that no amount of heat will keep you from full on face makeup?

Summer in Texas not only dictates what I can wear but also what activities I can do. Living in Indiana and Florida I had no problem hanging around outside but here it is just too much! My outdoor activities have been  limited to early morning or after dusk. Sometimes I feel like a prisoner in my house because I just don't want to deal with the heat. My flower beds are overgrown and none too pretty but the heat combined with laziness has made sure they will stay that way until, A. fall arrives or B. we hire someone. I think I need a hobby.......

I do have a gym membership....maybe if I start going my booty would look like hers.....

and I have been meaning to catch up on my reading.......
